LaSalle Investment Management, advised by Savills, has let four warehouse units at Bar Hill Trading Estate, Trafalgar Way, Cambridge to MPG Books Ltd. The deal totals 43,641 (4,054 sq m) making it one of the largest warehouse lettings in Cambridgeshire this year.
The UK's largest independent book and journal manufacturer has agreed a new 10-year lease across Units 2 to 5 Trafalgar Way and will pay a total annual rent of ?218,205.
All four units have recently been refurbished and benefit from the attributes of the Bar Hill Trading Estate, which is positioned seven miles from Cambridge city centre and offers direct access to the M11 via the A14.
Mark Beckham, of LaSalle Investment Management, comments: "We are delighted to have let these four units to MPG Books and the interest in the remaining vacant units shows that there is demand for good quality space with excellent transport links in the Cambridge area."
In addition to this success, Unit 49 which totals 12,535 sq ft (1165 sq m) has recently gone under offer, leaving 6,298 sq ft (585 sq m) remaining on the trading estate at Unit 18.
