Savills is delighted to be sponsoring Hampstead's Christmas Festival and Christmas Lights for the third year running.
The festivities will be held on Sunday 24th November in and around Hampstead High Street from midday, with the Christmas lights turned on at about 5pm by a mystery celebrity.
For the children, the festival kicks off with a free "first come first served" screening at the Hampstead Everyman Cinema of Pixar's popular film 'UP', but with Fire-Eaters, Circus acts, Fair ground attractions, a Santa's Grotto and real live Reindeers, there will no time to get bored! There will be an enormous range of food stalls providing traditional as well as International Fare and plenty of Christmas treats. On the entertainment front, musical acts, including Mica Paris, Mitch Winehouse, Culture Club's John Moss, and many more will be on stage.
The festival's chosen charity - The Amy Winehouse Foundation - is also hosting a second stage to showcase up and coming talent, and the money raised will go towards educating young people on the dangers of drink and drugs.
Frank Townsend, Head of Savills Hampstead Office said, "This is the third year that we have been the main sponsor in this extremely successful event. Over the last few years, we have had an audience of close to 40,000 people and with more than our fair share of A-list celebrities living on our doorstep, it's anyone's guess who will be switching on the lights this year.
"Last year we managed to secure, British actor, Sean Bean and John Culshaw and the year before, Michael McIntyre did his bit. Do not believe the rumours that it is Johnny Depp who lives in Belsize Park - I have been sworn to secrecy, but I think it will be someone we all recognise!"
